New Year....

This New Year's Eve Lars and I spent watching fireworks - set off by the next door neighbors.  They were fireworks that you would see in the States for the 4th of July.  The only difference was that they were coming from next door and not far, far away.  The entire neighborhood (because our neighbors were not the only family setting off fireworks and firecrackers.  Oh no, there was also the neighbor across the street, and down the street, and....well you get the picture) was filled with smoke.  It was like a bomb went off or there had recently been a raid of some sort.  Craziness.  We were lucky that we didn't get burned by the flying embers! What was even more crazy was that Max slept through the whole thing!  My New Year's Resolution - To be a stronger person, inside and out.

 The trees you see in these pictures are pretty much right about our head!
